We've been selling Italian car manuals and parts since 1981. In the 1980's and 1990's we were a Factory Authorized Parts Distributor for Fiat and Lancia automobiles. That gave us access to Fiat's parts inventory, including "factory" convertible tops.

After purchasing a substantial amount of tops from Fiat, we searched around to try and find "a better deal". What we found is that the "factory" tops were being made here in the US by a particular company for Fiat Auto U.S.A. and due to contract stipulations could not be sold to anyone else. This continued after Fiat sold off it's North American parts business to Import Parts America Inc. in 1990 and then Import Parts America sold it to Linearossa in 1994. Linearossa closed up in 2004 and Fiat "factory" tops ceased to be available.

Recently we contacted that particular company and asked if they would be interested in making some more tops. It did not take more than two seconds for the answer... yes. So the tradition of Fiat "factory" tops is once again a reality.

Precision... Our tops are manufactured using the latest laser projection CNC cutting technology. A laser illuminates the outlines of the pattern pieces then a CNC cutter cuts the individual pieces with more accuracy then could be imagined just several years ago. This is also a tremendous time saver and gives us a price advantage over our competition.
