Dashboard & consoles - Does your Spider have a crack in the dash near the defroster vents? How about on the floor console around the opening for the parking brake? But, have you tried to find a new dashboard or console over the years? Impossible until now! Caribou's NEW (not a cap or a cover or a refurbished part) Dash board, Floor Console or Radio Console is just what you need! Each is a painstaking reproduction of the original part, formed in plastic much more durable than Fiat originally used. After replacing that old, cracked and faded part with our new Dashboard and Consoles, your new looking interior will stay that way for years!

Spider Carpeting Kit - Easily our 2nd most requested part, our Carpeting Kit is either a great way to start on or to provide the finishing touch to your restoration! This quality carpet is 100% nylon to muffle noise and provide a long life. Our Carpeting Kit follows the exact floor dimensions for a perfect fit and is finished with color coordinated heel scuff pad, thread and a special process binding. We do not use the "cheesy" vinyl binding that everyone else does; instead we use a very labor intensive process that stitches the edges of the carpeting with hundreds and hundreds of individual stitches. This process is called "serging" and though much more difficult to do, we feel the expensive, high-quality look that results is well worth the effort! And still our carpet sets are priced less than our competition using cheap, vinyl binding!

Our kit does the entire interior except for the carpet on the door panel, which is part of the panel itself. Available in either beautiful cut-pile or long wearing loop in a choice of 12 colors: black, biscuit (light tan in color and a good match to the original "cream" colored carpet in many Spiders), tan, dark brown, red, maroon, gray, dark green, gold, blue, silver blue or dark blue. Specify color and choice of luxurious pile or durable loop. Any color, loop or pile is priced at $289.00

Sunvisors, with or without "Vanity Mirror" - Our sunvisors are available in black vinyl and made "flat", unlike the originals which have a curved shape to them. This flat shape allows us an important benefit that you can't get with the originals.. one sunvisor (without the vanity mirror) can now fit either the left or right side! Maybe the biggest benefit to you though is the price! Due to the fact we need not make 2 different visor patterns, our costs have been reduced so now you can buy 2 sunvisors from Caribou for less than the price of just 1 of the factory's! Easily affordable, a pair of sunvisors do wonders for the looks of your Spider, especially with the top down. Now, if you want more authenticity in your Spider, we do offer a flat shape passenger side sunvisor with a vanity mirror for slightly more. Now you can have it both ways! Both sunvisors without the mirror or one with and one without. Priced individually. Specify model year.

Front "Chin" Spoiler - Did you know all Spiders from 1979 on came with a front "chin" spoiler? But when was the last time you saw a Spider with one still on? Besides providing a distinct "sporty" look, the factory's addition of this spoiler was for 2 reasons: 1) provide extra cooling air directed at the lower front grille, necessary with the larger 2.0 liter engine and especially beneficial for cars with air conditioning and/or automatic transmission; and 2) since the ride height of the 2.0 liter cars was increased, the chin spoiler prevented air from getting under the car at higher speed thereby benefiting the Spider's handling. Many owners are unaware that a spoiler was on their car from the factory and what it's function was. Those that do know usually "balked" at the factory part's cost! Well, our Front Chin Spoiler is available at literally 1/2 the price! An exact duplicate of the original, no one will ever tell the difference! Plus: it fits all Spiders from 1968 to 1985 and even the 1978 and earlier cars can benefit from its use. part #4041 $79.76

Weatherstripping

Front of the convertible top - On the convertible top frame at the very front is a piece of weatherstripping that seals down against the chrome windshield frame when you close the top. Usually quite tattered by now, if in less than perfect condition it can let in wind, noise and rain. The factory's price for this piece of weatherstripping is astronomical, so we made reproductions. Absolutely identical to the original, except for the price, which is about 1/4 of what the factory charges. part #11023a $29.65

Door opening - On the door opening, this is the piece of weatherstripping that the door actually closes onto. It is usually quite tattered by now, and besides it's sealing function, this piece is plainly in sight whenever you enter or exit your Spider. Replacing this piece not only gives you a functional addition to your car, but one that looks good every time you open the door. Priced each. part #9100 $36.27

Top of door shell, in the chrome trim molding - This piece is on the door shell held in place by the chrome molding and "wipes" the exterior surface of the window glass when you raise or lower it. A specially shaped, felt surfaced rubber strip that the factory does not sell it separately (only along with the chrome molding) but Caribou does! A new weatherstrip here helps to keep water out of the doorshell, keeps your door glass clean and simply makes your car look a lot better. Priced each. part #9087 $17.85

Top of rear fender, in the chrome trim molding - Same as the piece listed above, but "wipes" the rear quarter window glass when you raise or lower the convertible top. It's not sold by the factory separately (only along with the chrome molding that it's in) but Caribou does! Another inexpensive functional and cosmetic improvement you can easily make. Priced each. part #9087a $9.16

In the window channel, front or rear - This vertically mounted felt-surfaced strip guides the door glass up and down in the metal channels. It also seals against rain, wind, noise, etc. There's one in the front channel (easily in view) and one in the rear channel (hidden in the door). Every car we see needs these... does yours?
