Since the Fiat factory stopped producing shocks for the Spiders over a decade ago, the only affordable alternative was the "KYB" brand, Japanese-made shock. We have never been fond of these shocks, since we feel the overall quality level, durability and ride quality was not up to what our Spiders deserved. But there was nothing else to chose from... until now. Caribou has exclusively arranged with Gabriel (a quality name you know and trust) to make a production run of low pressure gas shocks specifically for Fiat Spiders! Kevlar Brake Pads and Slotted Brake Rotors
We now offer the ultimate in braking ability for your Spider, X1/9, 131, 128 and Lancia Scorpion!
EBC Kevlar Green pads features a high Kevlar content formulation resulting in an ultra high performance road pad which is extremely kind to discs. With a friction co-efficient of around 0.46µ and high resistance to brake fade (at a continuous 1000º F) this pad is a superb upgrade for high performance street cars, high speed freeway use and consecutive heavy braking. And as if that's not enough, visible brake pad dust on your wheels is virtually eliminated!
Our high-quality slotted rotors take race car braking and agility to the "street"! By employing a slotted rotor design, these rotors reduce the gas build-up and pneumatic cushion that occurs when rotors and pads rub together during braking. The slotted vents pump away friction generated gas and relieve heat build-up giving you greater braking power and efficiency when you need it most.
You can use our Kevlar Brake Pads and Slotted Rotors separately from each other, but if used together they will provide an unbeatable braking experience!

Utilizing contemporary honeycomb mesh construction (the same type of converter that allows Corvettes and Vipers to approach 400hp) our Max-Flow converter is simply light-years ahead of the old style “pellet-bed” converter (used in the 1970’s and 80’s) that is currently on your Fiat. Even if you’ve bought a new “stock replacement” converter, it’s got the same old construction as original with all the same drawbacks.
If your converter is worn-out, plugged-up or damaged, simply replace it with our direct-fit, bolt-in Max-Flow converter and see increased performance and lower operating temperatures due to the significantly reduced back-pressure of the honeycomb mesh design. It is generally accepted that you gain 5 to 7hp by removing a converter (we do not approve of this... it is totally illegal and environmentally irresponsible also), so the free flowing design of the Max-Flow converter will also give results in the same range. This is especially helpful for engines that have been modified for increased air flow, as in this case our Max-Flow converter will allow you to extract all the performance potential possible.
These converters are so “free-flowing” that when held up and looked thorough you can see light from the other side! And you’ll still be 100% EPA legal and 100% legal in every state (including California) as our Max-Flow converters meets all E.P.A. and C.A.R.B. specifications.
