1975-1985 FIAT & PININFARINA 124/2000 SPIDER FACTORY SHOP MANUAL - This
hefty 505 page manual covers the 1.8 & 2.0 Spiders including fuel injected
and "Turbo" models. Everything from basic maintenance, tune-up, detailed repair
procedures to complete overhaul for all components are completely described.
Whether you're simply changing spark plugs or rebuilding your engine,

For the home mechanic this manual is most likely all you'll ever need! Formerly known as the Clymer brand of manual, this covers all 1971 to 1984 Spider models extremely well. Though not quite as detailed as the Factory Original Manual, it's a valuable compilation of service and diagnostic procedures written with the amateur mechanic in mind. Hundreds of pictures and illustrations with full technical specifications on all individual parts of the Spider. Features complete disassembly and assembly procedures including the fuel-injected and turbo models. Highly recommended for it's content and great value. 251 pages, 454 pictures & illustrations.

WIRING DIAGRAMS FOR FIAT SPIDERS
Caribou is able to offer you the "correct" wiring diagrams for your specific year model of Spider, unlike the "generic" or "foreign market" wiring diagrams that are offered elsewhere. Our diagrams were produced by Fiat North America's Technical Department while the cars were being sold as new vehicles and incorporate all the differences unique to our USA cars. The diagrams vary in number of pages depending upon year of the car, but cover your car fully with individual circuits on each page, wire color and diameter charts and relay and component locations. You cannot be without one of these for your specific year of car!
FUEL INJECTION DIAGNOSIS MANUAL -
Is your fuel-injected car running a bit "off"? Have a rough idle or hard starting? Lack of power or poor gas mileage? These and other running problems are covered and diagnosed component by component in this manual. Written by Fiat North America when the cars were still sold "new", the best part about this manual is that all you need is a test light and volt-ohm meter to do virtually all the testing on every individual fuel injection component! This is exactly the information you need to diagnosis your car right in your own garage or driveway. The material in this manual is not covered in any other manual, so if it's a specific fuel injection problem you are dealing with, this is a "must have". still sold "new". Gives complete technical specifications, a
description of the physical operation of the transmission (ever wonder how
all those gears spin around and work?), complete dis-assembly instructions
for the shafts, gears, synchros and bearings, cleaning and inspection
instructions and then complete reassembly procedures. Each individual
procedure is well documented with specific instructions and an average of
three photos and/or diagarams or drawings on each of the 44 pages. Don't go
into your Spider's transmission without this! Covers all 5-speed
transmissions in the 124/2000 Fiat/Pininfarina Spiders
models.
REAR AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL REPAIR MANUAL -
Another great manual written by Fiat North America when the cars were
still sold "new". Gives complete technical specifications, removal and
installation isntructions, disassembly, inspection and assembly instructions
with shim selection, backlash check and tooth contact pattern check procedures. Each individual
procedure is well documented with specific instructions and an average of
three photos and/or diagarams or drawings on each of the 20 pages. Covers 1979-on 2000
Fiat/Pininfarina Spiders and 1979-on 131/Brava models.
FIAT SPIDER TURBO INTRODUCTION - Curious about what made this rare model of Spider different? Written by Fiat North America (who arranged for the cars to be "turbo-ed here in the US and not in Italy as many believe) included are cosmetic and identification differences, all the engine compartment changes, plus a full explanation of the turbo system operation, boost enrichment and load enrichment circuits, overboost protection, trouble diagnosis and possible causes, plus test procedures and complete torque specifications.
